Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Traverse City, Michigan!

Traverse City has always been one of the preferred vacation areas for Michigan natives. With all of the urban amenities expected in the largest metropolitan area in the northern half of Michigan's lower peninsula, Traverse City also offers casual resorts and bed and breakfast inns near the National Lakeshore of Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay, as well as a beautiful, rolling countryside reminiscent of northern Italy which surrounds the area, producing arguably the best fresh cherries in the world and in recent years a growing and competitive wine industry. The Traverse City area offers a wide variety of experiences for every season of the year, from the best ski slopes in Michigan during the winter months, to the week-long cherry festival early in July, the extraordinary autumn colors of Northern Lower Michigan, and the fresh and crisp mornings of Michigan's spring awakening. Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island are all a short day trip away from the Traverse City area, and with their winding roads of evergreen and white birch trees, and quiet lakes brimming with trout offer a contrast in terrain and vegetation from Lower Michigan. From resorts, to small, historic inns, to major chain hotels in town, the Traverse City area offers the perfect retreat any time of the year.
